Have you guys had any weird dream recently. Having said about the weirdest dream, I wish to share this posting, courtesy from my little frat, which never fail to slip out my mind. I can still laugh tremendously upon reading this post again and again.
The Dream Which Was Weird.

I was crossing a road, a Platypus waddled up to me, and stood beside me.. I glared at it.. It ignored me.. In fact, it was just standing there, looking at the green light patiently in a dignified manner.. I continued glaring at it.. I mean, it was rude of the platypus to stand there, like it was trying to blend in, trying to be...... human! Then I was thinking that this platypus wasn't local.. Maybe it's a refugee, an illegal immigrant or something like that! Then I was being evil by thinking of catching it, then reporting it to the police because it's a refugee platypus! The next thing I knew, I was thinking of how do I start catching it.. If I just jump clean on top of it to try to pin it down, it must get offended and peck me with its beak.. The beak looks flat and vicious.. I better do small talk.. Weird, I want to talk what?! Oh dear, the light are amber!! Better put on a placid smile first..

"Hello, Mr Platypus," I said in my best jaunty voice.. Sounds a little like an elephant farting..

"Yo, mate!" the ugly Platypus replied, nonetheless.. Definitely Australian, I told myself.. Quick, think of something Australian to say!

"Say, is that Billabong you are wearing then, mate?"

"What the fuck?"

"Ah? I mean, did you watch Miss Universe, Australia won, right? Pretty sia.."

"Yeah, the Oz won.. Mind you, Kangaroos kept giving me the cocky look when they saw me.. Cocky Kangaroo! Hahahaha.." He began to laugh deeply at his own joke..

"Eh? So you're not Australian lah?" I asked..

"Insulted mate! I'm from the great Britian! I am from the land of the wrinkly Queen! The motherland of Indians.. Hahahaha.. And I am proud to be a British platypus! Mind you, we have Harry Potter, and the Spice Girls and Beckham! What more does a nation want?"

"Well, we have nasi lemak and the esplanade lah.."

"I don't understand what you are talking about, mate.. Are you mocking me? I may be a platypus, a British one mind you, but I am not stupid! Say, do you want to cross the road with me?"

"Ah? No.. Tak payah.." The platypus looked scandalised.

"Why?? And don't speak in that native tongue of yours!" he screamed in a high pitched voice, not unlike a platypus would..

"Err.." How can I tell him gently that I don't wanna cross the road with a filthy platypus like him, and I also want to catch him to report to the police?

"Err, err, err, you fool, speak up!", he said, breaking my thread of thought..

"Don't imitate me, chee byee!"

"Well you did speak that way, mate! Say, while you take such a long time to decide what to make up your speech off, could you help me take a photo? Of me standing right here leaning on this lovely fire extinguisher here? There there, lovely.." He handed me a wet camera.. I was like, what the fuck? Why is his camera wet? Stupid platypus.. It's time to act.

"Would you like to play catching with me, Mr Platypus? I'll run after you with a giant net and see if I can catch you.. How's that? Can or not?"

"Sure thing mate! Sounds fun!" I pulled out a giant butterfly net out of no where and caught the stupid platypus in a jiffy..

"Haha.. You stupid platypus!" I announced in triumph.. "Thast's for being a refuge! I shall report you to the police!"

"You kid me not, human," the refugee platypus actually shrieked in laughter..

"What's so funny?!"

"Well first of all, I am not a refugee.. I am an expatriate.."

"Haha.. Goody goody!"

"And secondly, I've been in Singapore for years! You expect me to believe that lie about reporting me to the police? You thought I'm a kid? 'Ah boy ah, if you don't stop crying, the police will come then you know yadda yadda' nonsense is too commonly used as a threat! I am not scared!" said the expatriate platypus in a horrible smirking manner..

"Eh? So you're not a refugee lah?" I asked tentatively..

"That's right! Now get me out of this net please.."

"No! I still can report you to the police and they'll lock you in jail for talking! Animals can't talk, stupid! Wait till the Channel News Asia hear about this, they will interview and embarass you in the news! Warghaha.. I'm evil!" The platypus stared at me, and promptly chewed his way through the net to freedom.. I looked on in horror, then it hit me..

"Hey! I just realised you were pretending when you said you don't understand what is nasi lemak and the esplanade lah! Chee byee! Bluff me!"

"Well," the expat platypus said, "I don't like that stuff.. Anyway, you have offended my rights as a platypus, as horrid as my name sounds with platy and pus inside, but that's not the point.. The point is, I am gonna peck you to death if you cannot answer this question of mine..Besides the platypus, what is the other mammal that lays eggs?

That's when I woke up.. Stupid Platypus.. Give me a question that I don't know the answer..

Chee..

And for those who does not know what a platypus is, I am kind enough to give you such a filling description.
Scientific Name:
Ornithorhynchus anatinus Home:

Breaking free from housework and having lunch with good friends usually do me wonders. You get to enjoy that hastle free afternoon enjoying food and drink and talking about daily routine and marrital problems if any. Besides the man whom we call hubby, who else can we complained to with the daily exhausting timetable of being a wife other than good friends who will share their listening ears to our parts and parcel of life. I enjoyed being with my 2 good friends, Nana and Lin last Saturday. Its amazing how previously we used to enjoy outings with just us but now, its different when you bring along babies. We are obviously changed, having to wanting to talk about our life and while doing that, concentrating on our babies needs. But it was an enjoyable lunch (had mixed cheese sandwich which was so marvelicious). And looking at the child reaction was indeed cheerful.

Not used to having another baby (boy, some more!) besides her, Sarah Batrisyia Bte Rosly just stared closely at the Nasrul. Body language explains all. Cute!

I'm finally back after a long hiatus. With boss away for his holiday trip to Europe, thought I can have a jolly good time in the office, de-stress and do my accounts peacefully but No! It was the opposite. My whole day in the office are drenched with work loads and I guess I'm the only one that is busy and stressing like crazy than the rest of the staff who are enjoying these 2 weeks day-without-boss. How can I not stress when boss wants me to take the lead in the office, being on top of every project and collections. And talking about collections, debtors have been calling asking for payments but no funds, how to pay. Plus, although the boss is away, he's still bothering us with sms and phone calls asking for updates. I have said this before and I will said this again, why bother to pay the others salary when all the job are being done by solely me, I might as well do a one man show, secretary, admin, accounts, sales, site... everything... pass to me... i can do... sure one... if not also... i sure die... because i one person... do everything mah...... now can understand why i very busy until cannot update? Officelah, give me so many things to do until I cannot curik time to do personal things. Haiyah, nang bo ti nang, qui bo ti qui, bo tai chi!

Hubby got cheated on his first attempt to buy a weekend car. I dunno whether to smile or to cry. Supposingly he was promised by the car dealer (a lady, mind you!) to pick up his all ready car (Hyundai Getz with spoiler done, tinted windows done and yada yada yada) yesterday and of course both of us are looking forward to it. Firstly, it will be his new achievement that he can afford to get a transportation for me and baby and secondly, it's convenient to go out when you have a car. Before this, he applied for Hyundai Accent but due to vigarously unsuccessful COE bidding, the dealer advised him to change to something else and he tried for Getz. That was like somewhere in August. Week by week he waited and there's no status or documentations that need to be signed. All documentations requested were already passed to that dealer and he gave her his IC for 2 bloody days for nothing (he has to have his IC for his night work or he won't be allowed to enter the premises, so no IC for 2 days which means he could not work ie. no pay for that 2 days). And worst, deposit (a few hundreds worth my shopping expenses) for COE bidding was handed to her somewhere in August. When hubby got a phone call from that dealer yesterday, telling him to pick up the car only on Monday and suddenly ask him questions which should have been asked long time back, hubby got suspicious. So hubby called the main office (located at Rifles Building, Macpherson Road) and spoke to one of the lady there and guess what, the office received no documentations or deposit from that dealer at all so no transaction has been done. Hubby was fcuking mad and he told the whole story and situation to that lady and called up the dealer to get his deposit back. Dealer sms-ed this time, telling hubby that she is doing all her best and even wishes to be hubby guarantor if needed. That made hubby more pissed off. Who does this dealer think she is to wanting to be hubby's guarantor? Kenal pon tidak apa pon tidak setakat submitting documentations and talking on the phone about the car jer. When she knows hubby was fuming mad, she said she'll get her office to return the deposit by cheque on Monday. Lagi bertambah mengamuk laki aku. If the office did not received any deposit from her, how the hell they can issue cheque to hubby? Hubby demanded his deposit by hook or by crook yesterday night, via account transfer. I was upset at first but come to think of it, I think that's a good lesson for him to learn coz this dealer (Sunita is her name, hubby says macam Singh) was introduced by his friend (who will of course get commission if transaction approve). I have told him before to check when the transaction been ongoing for weeks and weeks but he said don't need. Now all which is left to do is to get hubby to check with the bank whether there's any transaction under hubby's name. I still have that bad feeling that this dealer is all out to cheat hubby. Poor darling. Anyways, he got his frustruation out by renting a car for 3 days... hehehehe... and we got the car from this malay pakcik from the newspaper. Went to his place, which is a .. excuse me.. not 2, not 3 but a 4 storey bungalow!! The pakcik was not around and he got us to liaise with his daughter who was at home that time. And she told us, she got 12 cars for rent and the cars were all over the street. My hubby was saying, Kaya! Kaya! Then when she handed out receipt and business card, they're doing car rental business lah dol.. ingatkan personalnya coz don't need deposit and 1 year driving license. And my story ends, have a good weekend everybody!

I am frustruated yet happy. Frustruated because the lunch that I was hoping for yesterday was postponed to today (supposingly) but I told my supplier to do it next Monday instead, all because of SingPost project delivery which I have to monitor closely. Then during lunch time, I was advised that the container still has not been truck out from port. Arggghhh... if I know that in advance, lunch would definately takes place. Luckily JL saved me from hunger and bought me nasi briyani from the stall nearby. Frustruation aside but I am most happy because my boss just left office for his holiday trip to Bali. That leave me with, no! not no work, but less hastle. With boss around in the office, one minute you have to do this, the next minute you have to do that, the next other minute, you have to do the first one that have to be done. Thus, with his absence from the office, I can arrange my own work without any disturbance from him. More peaceful this way and task can be accomplished at a shorter period of time. Yeay! Finished all the quotes that need to go out today. Done all the fax to whoever it should go. The only outstanding is monitoring this container unstuffing and goods delivery to SingPost site. I think I should go out and get myself an ice cream first. Then afterwards, all I need to do is enjoy my ice cream and sit by the phone and wait for the forwarders to call me. So, from now till end of the day, it's basically liasing via phone with Class95FM echoing in the background and errmm, MSN. Just splendid! Ice cream, here I come!

Have been busy this past few days. Work is not piling up but project is, one after another. Too bad I got into project line again. This week itself, I've got 3 ongoing projects to handle, shipments arriving and delivery in progress. Why must being in secretarial & administration line, you've got more to handle than the person holding the title as site coordinator himself? While I'm busy issuing orders, raising invoice, checking ETAs, arranging delivery, my site coordinator always have this tendency of running to sites lah, checking sites lah, site seeing lah until I felt that it's not fair for him to have that much salary when he's only doing site measurement, despatch work and gi minum kopi ngan kengkawannya dan mereka yang sewaktu dengannya. Plus, while people are having good time lunching out, meeting clients for lunch, I'm left alone in the office without even having a proper lunch time. Not fair.....! Thus, tomorrow, I will enjoy myself when one of my carpet supplier has confirmed earlier that she'll bring me & my marketing guy for lunch tomorrow. Yeay!!

TODAY - I'm sleepy and I might have to get ready for either a stomach pain or diarrhoea later coz this morning, being the don't want to waste food lady, have eaten a fresh looking egg (sunshine up) that is actually rotten. Ewww.. it's disgusting! By the time I'm typing this, I can still feel the slimy taste inside my mouth. How rotten! What happened was, I brought in the nasi lemak that hubby bought from Changi Village yesterday night. Looking at the pack inside, the nasi still looks good and so does the rest of the side dishes (hotdog/fishcake/egg/ikanbilis). Rather than throwing it away into the dustbin, I thought to have it for breakfast this morning so here I was, having the delicious yesterday's nasi lemak. Everything was allright until I actually began dilly dallying while eating it (sambil makan, sambil baca blog orang lain) that the nasi lemak is slowly turning bad. Hotdog and fishcake were still allright, then when I was eating the last bit of egg yolk, it tasted so bad that I wanted to puke. Luckily there's a cup of coffee near me, so I just gulp down the hot coffee to get rid of the taste. Oh, it was horrible, I tell you. You don't wish to hear the details. Now, the taste really got on my tongue. Why I didn't eat that nasi lemak yesterday? SUNDAY - Woke up early to go to mum's place. Mum wanted to go buy some stuff at Ikea and Dad wanted to see Sarah. So I grab little Sarah to Bishan that morning and while Dad is away for his usual marhaban routine, Mum entertained Sarah. When Dad came home after lunch, he had Sarah all by himself, video recording, entertaining.. you name it, all that Atok can do for his little princess, including making her cry just for his joy. Sis wanted to tag along to Ikea but she knock off at 5pm, thus I suggested meeting at Ikea around that time. Me, Mum, little frat and little Sarah went off to Ikea, leaving behind Dad who was dozing off. Reached Ikea at 4.30pm and we browse and shop. I bought scented candles again (Vanilla is nice but I have been using that so changed to Cinnamon & Sandalwood this time), tea light holders and a tray to put Sarah's drinking bottles. I just love the scented candles over there, it makes my room smell terrific and exotic.. hehe. Then, little fret wanted to buy his street soccer shoes over at Queensway so we walked over and had dinner at McDonald too. By the time I reached home, it was almost 9pm and hubby was already home from his pancing trip at Changi with his mate Azli and girlfriend, Zilla. Zilla just bought a new car and wanted to test drive to JB but hubby has to drive coz she's not confident to drive into JB yet. So we went into JB and had supper there. After supper, went to fill up petrol and drive back into Singapore. Hubby drove us home and true enough, Zilla's still struggling to drive home when only after 10 minutes, the car is finally gone from our carpark. Apa yang dia adjust pat kereta pon I dunno... hehe... Upon reaching home, had shower and got ready to sleep but little Sarah wants to play. So I had to entertained her till 2.30am and by that time, hubby was already snoring his way to dreamland. And the nasi lemak that he bought me on the way home from Changi, I had to put aside coz I'm already full with Nasi Pattaya from Setulang, JB.

Pssst....!!!!! My second posting of the day, just nice when the boss is out. I dunno what has overcome me today. I had so many items for lunch, appetite damn big today! I think I must have gained a few kilos up again, after weight declined last week due to being sick. My lunch list : 1 chicken pau, 1 lor mai kai, 4 siew mai, 1 tuna puff, 1 cup ice cream and 1 can blackcurrent fruit tree drink. Mak kau.. tak ke muntah kedarah namanya tu... makin boyaklah aku niari... Look what I found in my photobucket..... Sweeeeetttttt and coincidentally, KakMil, Doink & Crab
What's with obsession? I do have an inexpensive obsession. Obsession with bedsheets. Oh yes and I can just shop for bedsheets without putting a stop to my crazy obsession. I did it again yesterday. While walking past Aussino at Junction 8, I suddenly saw this lime colour bedsheet and without much thought, purchased it. Instead of wardrobe full of clothings, I have a wardrobe full of bedsheets. However, the strangest thing is, although there are lots of designs to choose from, I have this tendency to use the same bedsheet again and again until the colour almost run out due to daily washing. The most expensive collection is those from Jean Perry and Cleo collection, other than that, anything that I can purchase during members sales period at John Little just do me wonders. I was thinking of asking hubby to paint back the room into a more vibrant color like pearl white or something. I am getting sick of those red and pink stripes already coz the only colour that I can use for bedsheets are bright red or pink or white which I think I have dozens of those. Should I change room colour and get rid of all those clusters that I don't need? I think I should do something this weekend and leave the room painting to hubby when he's free......
