NEW SKIN
I am falling in love with fellow blogger, Trina's stripy layout skin. The stripes just got me excited to change my so lama layout by Mamafai. Lunch hour was not spared just to make this layout looks good. When I have posted, the text fonts seems so very odd. Some with Times and some on Arial.
Ni yang aku tak suka ni. Dah penat-penat add sana sini, sekali tak menjadi. Now, I don't have the time to make changes already so I have to make do with this layout at this moment.

SPECIALLY FOR MUM
This is a so dah basi post. I have wanted to post this right up on Monday but then I am so blardy busy at work that I decided to postpone this post. Postpone punya postpone, I realize Mother's Day already a week over. This post is not about Mother's Day but what I felt as a mother and a daughter. Heh. Feeling, emo, whatever you called it.
I think I've mentioned in my previous post about how frustruated I am with the boys because of their so slacking in studies. Now that exams dah over, besides playing, they are trying their best to fit into my good books. Last Sunday, the eldest surprise me with something (I said something) like this ... and a card that says, " Dear Mama, Happy Mother's Day. You are the best mother in the whole world. Thank you for everything. I love you so much. From your son, Rayyan. " Touched? Worst! I cried!
To make the crying even worst, the youngest presented me with this, nicely and secretly hidden behind his tuala mandi, on his way into the toilet ...

.. and the card says, " Dear Mother, bla bla bla bla as per the card's content. From Riyan. " Cute!

I thought they will hate me for really grounding them. I thought I will be labelled as Cinderella's or Dwi's step mother. I thought they'd probably think of their own Mother on Mother's Day. I thought.. berapa banyak thought lah. Now I know I am wrong to have all that feelings. It was indeed an honour to get those gifts and card from them, especially when I am not their real mum. To appreciate their gifts, I tampal the cards on my dressing mirror and place their gift as perhiasan in my bedroom.

Next, I just love to see my own mum smiling when Droolz brought us to Straits Kitchen. I know she was happy and content. I purposely took leave for this Mother & Daughter occassion okay. If not for Droolz, I wouldn't have the chance to step in Grand Hyatt. Sejak gaji dah downgrade, everything all have to downgrade. Heh. When I used to work in my ex office with my ex pay, anything is possible. High tea? Dinner at Mezzanine? Chicken kedodol tu. Can even treat girlfriend out to dinner at Traders. Now, ermm.. hawker centre can or not? Restaurant can lah but not every week. Heh.

Ok ok.. back to my story, the lunch was kononnya sempena Mother's Day lah. It was food glorious food indeed! But Droolz, until today, I still am very musykil on what that Indian fella was eating that day that I can't seem to find over the counter. Maybe must return to check it out. Ended up at Tangs feeling like an overweight pregnant woman. I am already overweight. Sigh. Luckily the husband was not working that day. He chauffered us to and fro. Sweet ain't he? Cuma kesiannya tak dapat join sama coz including Sarah it's ladies' affair.

Gotta go now. Am bringing Sarah to swim at Bishan pool. Have a good weekend.

BOYS BOYS BOYS
Now that the boys are back with me, I want them to achieve good results in their exam. Even if its not that good results, I told them to try and pass their exams, unlike last year where most subjects they failed. However, I am pissed with their attitude towards study. They only revise when I instruct them to study for exams. Exams has started but they are so slacking.
My patience limits have over exceeded and I told them off infront of my husband, my mother in law and my mother in law's younger sister. I don't mean to be rude infront of my mother's guest but the boys didn't leave me with a choice either.
Unlike the time when I am without Sarah, my full focus are on them. I grill them with revision paper. I made them obey my strict rules. Probably those reasons made them run back to their own mother. I don't know. Now with Sarah, my focus are not totally on them. By the time I come home from work, I'm dead beat. Still, I have to spend more time with my darling baby and the boys with their homework. They just took most opportunity which I left open, say when I am having a nap or when they think they'd finish revising for 1 hour thus the rest of the day spent watching TV or follow grandma out, this especially from the eldest son. I hate it when I give simple instruction to follow the schedule I've given and they (the eldest especially) gave no hoot about it.
I am still figuring out where my fault is? Did I not spend too much time with them on study? Was it because they're not grilled this time with my own sets of revision books and paper? I gave a leeway on my own sets due to them having so much papers and homework from school and I don't want to add more burden on their shoulders.
Like any parents, I just want them to really work hard that 1-2 months before exam and they can have their way during June holidays but things are not working out good here. They don't bother to study, the husband don't bother to put a strict rule only a simple WARNING that they'd better don't fail. When I asked them to study, ada je orang yang suruh buat itulah, pergi sana sinilah, hantar ini itulah and being me, what else I can say other than getting so frustruated but still pendamkan rasa?
A volcano will erupts if it gets too hot, so will I. Yesterday, I erupted in front of all and I felt ashamed but I cannot help it. The boys are just too much. Nanti, kalau betul2 aku lepas tangan, tak nak ajar, tak nak discipline, tak nak ambil tahu, baru padan muka. I am at loss.
My only hope now is on Sarah but she is another one stubborn headed girl. Tak nak dengar cakap. I am very sure I am not like this when I am young coz Mama said I am so quiet that people think I am mute. Sarah is so opposite. Must be the husband's gene? Perhaps...

FOXY BABY
I was dead tired by the time I reached home from work yesterday but the thought of my purchases over the weekend somehow turned me on. Heh. I became one busy photographer trying to make my girl posing like a child model. I took out the Fox's tops, all of them and tried putting on to the non-stop fidgetting baby. Arrghhh... it turned out very ugly. Not the pictures but my pleas and shouts to ask her to keep still. Out of all the 10, only 3 snaps showed her full features. Blearghhh.. mummy is not fit to be a photographer after all.
When I got her to pose well, the image turned out blurry. Boo #1.

When I finally got to snap her close up, she grinned and frowned like dunno what like that. Sigh. Boo #2.

I was about to snap again when she took off her snow cap. Haiyah baby. 1 minute also cannot sit still. When I was deleting the accidentally snap pictures while she was taking off her snow cap, she makes a hell lot of noise but sit still on the bed edge. Another opportunity not to be missed. I finally got a shot. Ok. Not bad. But then I saw the pisang goreng in her hands. Arghhh... Boo #3.

Giving up almost completely, I let her out of my sight and took pictures of the tops without the child model. Hampeh! But hey, lemme tell you, all mama to baby girl out there. Baby boy, sorrylah, takde benda langsung! It was WORTH your $$$ on Fox warehouse sale. All ladies & baby girl's top going for THREE LOLLAR only. I spend 10 tops for $30.00 only at the warehouse sale when usually, it cost between $19.00 to $39.00 for one top at the boutique when no sale available. Now she has lotsa tops but no bottoms. Sigh.

ps. the sale dah over. wait for the next sale hor.
