WEEKEND KICK FOR THE DAD & KIDS
The kids had fun during the weekend. So did the parents despite being ill. Since the school holiday started, we the parents had totally ignore the kids. We make them stay indoor and only bring them out once in a while. Since I was on off that Saturday and we had to go town to settle some stuff, we brought the kids with us. We had lunch, went to Healthzone and then to Yishun for a dip in the pool (see pictures below). After that, we went to petik pucuk ubi at Seletar. That Saturday, I crave for kampung dishes so upon reaching home, I storm the kitchen with lemak cili api pucuk ubi and fried ikan asin. Mak dicak.. terangkat sekali-sekala makan lauk kampung. Pucuk ubi free lak tu. Heh. That night we or in fact I, slept with a full tummy.

Come Sunday morning, brought Sarah to the market to get breakfast of nasi lemak and nasi sambal goreng. The kids were up and we had breakfast together. By mid day, we left for Ayie & Zihan wedding at Blk 408 Woodlands. Food was good and family of the groom were friendly. Dapat jugaklah jumpa member-member lain yang dah lama tak jumpa.

After the wedding, got hubby to drive to Cineleisure for Kick In The City event by Kids Central. Met Fandi and the young lions there. Wendy Jacob and their juniors were there too. Sarah even got a Spain flag painted on her cheeks. Cute. Rayyan, the eldest had a kick start in one of the match and won 2 goodies sponsored by Maxell. Jadilah. At least they had fun. By 6pm, we left for home since Hubby was not at all feeling better. He had a cold and in turn for a Father's Day reward, the kids gave him a good massaged on the back and feet. Sarah also helped massage her ayah's head. Heh.

MY JUNIOR

What she learnt at age 1 year old

When I said, frown. Sarah will frown, her dahi and mata terkerut-kerut with her mulut semuncung-muncung tidak.

When I said, where is your eyes. Sarah will kebil-kebil her eyes macam anak dara mentel.

When I said, perut buncit pat mana. Sarah will tepuk-tepuk her perut yang buncit like her ayah and mama.

When I said, Mama pening kepalalah. Sarah will smack her own forehead tanda pening jugak.

When I said, that is my Easylink for bus ride. Sarah will go "tap" "tap". That's her language for Easylink.

When I said, go put your baju inside the bakul (for baju kotor). Sarah will pick her baju kotor but instead of dumping it inside the bakul for baju, she dump it inside my bakul sampah. Must really point at her bakul baju then she will put it inside there.

When I said, where is your puting. Sarah will find high and low for her puting (pacifier).

When I am eating, Sarah will go NAKKKKKKKKK...

When I am showering, Sarah will open the bathroom door and go CHAKKKK... and she will stand there like a security guard. There was one occassion when she is suddenly afraid being alone in the room (she will tap her dada tanda takut) that she insist on coming into the toilet. I had to let her sit on the toilet bowl. I have to always remember to lock the bedroom door when I am showering.

When Huzey is eating, Sarah will approach that poor cat and either try to shove biscuits into the cat's mouth or smack the cat with her bantal busuk until the cat terbantut nak makan.

When she is at Popular Bookstore, she will get any book, sit on the floor and read/browse and will put it back on the shelve. When she is at home, she will get any book, read/browse/'eat' and left it lying around on the floor.

The best thing that I like about her is, when she saw me in anger or distress, she will come up to me, put her face right infront of my face and smile widely showing her sungguh tajam teeth and she will say Chakkk or she will kiss and kiss and kiss my lips until I responded. When she does that, it will definately turunkan boiling temperature inside me.

That's my little baby Sarah Batrisyia... the sungguh nakal but adorable, now age 1 year 2 months.

ONE NIGHT STAND
Dear You,
I am so amazed at how you've managed to captured hubby's attention. My thoughts that night was you look too plain to be so attractive, just like the rest of your kinds. Hubby assured me so well not to judge a book by its cover.
Giving you my benefit of doubt, I let hubby out of the car to approach your negotiator. Hubby even smiled at me with his hand gesture that everything is under control. When he came back to the car and said you're so affordable, it was really a tough decision to make. To take you home with us or just leave you there, selling yourself away through the night. I looked into my wallet and gave hubby all that is left in that wallet just to get you. Looks like I have withdraw more money the next day.
I can't believe I am doing this for hubby. I know you saw me winding up the windowscreen after that. I just can't stand your strong smell perfume. It is just too strong and even made my head spinning afterwards. I guess you have to rely on that strong smell perfume to pull such a crowd, huh?
When hubby came back to the car with you by his side, I was really devastated. I know he's gleaming not because I gave him the permission to 'purchase' you but because you were there and your strong perfume really purified the air inside that small car. Me on the other hand were really dizzy and almost puke okay.
Immediately after we reached home, hubby settled in with you, undressing you carefully. I can see that he was so engrossed with you coz I was totally ignored. Your presence really affected my night. Worst and to my horror, although the clock showed past midnight, you made a big commotion in the living room. The whole family woke up just to enjoy you.
I went back into my room, not wanting to join in the 'family affair'. I tried to sleep but these eyes just wouldn't want to close. Later, hubby came into the room with you and placed you beside me. That moment, although I cannot stand your strong scent of so cheapskate perfume, you really look so nice being skinless. I cannot resist.....

..... so I went ahead to have a piece of you, dear durian. So lemakkkkkk.... but I still hate the smell.

BABY'S FIRST FISHING TRIP
It was a very hot afternoon that Saturday when the husband suddenly thought of pancing ikan at Changi. Memandangkan I am done with housework, cooking and laundry, I tagged along with little Sarah since she pon dah tahu jalan. Was looking forward for a nice afternoon at the beach but the so terik matahari buat me sampai tak leh carry. Peluh meleleh-leleh, habis bau masam badan satu-satu.
Disebabkan panas sangat, we were there fishing for only 1 hour. Heh. Takde semangat langsung! Lagipun, takde ikan and susah pancing sebab spot yang kita pergi tu is where the tugboat to Ubin keluar masuk. Macam mana nak pancing, hubby? The kids grumble coz they haven't had enough fun yet sekali the ayah dah suruh pack-pack, nak balik. I guess the little princess had her fun and I had the most fun as well just by sitting down and watching her have fun. Hah.
Hubby serious sungguh bila fishing...

The eldest son yang also kaki pancing. Like father like son katakan. So tense raut wajahnya. Tengok ikan ke tengok anak dara?? Ishhh...

The middle son yang dah dibanned oleh si ayah dari memancing. Sebab-sebab tertentu adalah, tak tahu nak jaga barang pancing, reel asyik letak sembarang sampai masuk pasir, always very clumsy and buat kerja tergopoh-gapah. Jadi for this trip, pakai ambo jer lah adik... pancing jugak pe. Tu sebab tak semangat...

The youngest, geram sangat tengok semua orang memancing, dia pon tak nak kalah. Amik net and start pancing. Ikan apa agaknya yang dia tangkap pat atas batu tu tapi dia tetap tak nak give up. Dia menyangkung pat situ selama 5 minit. Tunggu ikan katakan... tunggu punya tunggu punya tunggu...
... ikan tak timbul-timbul. Last-last, dia fed up, dia angkat tu net. Wahhh... dia jalan ngan net dia... mungkin nak carik spot lain...

Oh tidak. Dia tak carik spot lain, sebaliknya inilah yang dia buat bila rasa dah boring sangat sebab tak dapat ikan. The witch flew on a broomstick. Sarah flew on a fishing net. Heh!
Mak dia.. jangan tanya. Dia jadi camerawoman yang tak bertauliah hari tu.
