So many stories to tell but no time to write. For a starter, my little angel is recuperating well after that bicycle fall last 2 weeks and so is my beloved dad. I am more concern on my dad than my daughter actually coz dad suffered the most with his really swollen lips and bruised cheeks while Sarah had an abrassion on the forehead, cheek and chin. She was referred to KK Children's Hospital but the doctor there advised that the cut was not at all deep, she just lost some skins and since she's still active even though there's bloody blood on her forehead, we heed the doctor's advise to just monitor her at home. That devillicious angel is ok and strong, doing all women proud. She don't care about the abrassion and just carried on being active as she is. Heh! Poor dad had to sit and rest at home. All this happen when dad decide to cycle to my obek's house (or Nek Meow as Sarah called her) at Toa Payoh Lorong 8, bringing Sarah along with him. Somehow, my old man lost control of the bike and landed on the cycling track. As you know how the rough the granite is on cycling/jogging tracks, I can feel the pain and the ouch as his lips kissed hard on that rough floor. He must have tried to shield my little girl when they fall, that's why his injury kalah orang jatuh motor. But thank god, both are ok, especially dad. His lips seems better now and Sarah's abrassion starting to heal as well. Below are some pictures to do most of the talking coz I'm just waiting for time for dearest hubby to fetch me from office. Uh-huh.. still in the office, not doing work but updating blog.
Her latest picture taken. The abrassion on her forehead, scratch on her cheeks and chin.
The morning before the accident happened. This kopet face can still smile and pose for her takde-kerja Mama.
This is when I fetched her that afternoon. When mum called me up in the office saying both dad and baby falled off the bicycle, I told mum its ok but when dad called up an hour later and the doctor told me to bring Sarah to KK, I panicked and when I saw my dad at the Emergency ward, I almost fainted coz he was in such a state and he still brought my baby over to KK. His care and concern towards his granddaughter reminded me of my late grandpa. *sobs* *sobs*
After I fetched Sarah from Bishan (dad's place), we went to Punggol to meet Hubby's friends whose enjoying their afternoon fishing. Sarah enjoyed herself too, although kena plaster on the forehead, she is as active as Energizer battery, I tell you.
1 week after, I brought her to Punggol for a breakfast and pasar trip with Droolz. While Droolz did her marketing, I sibuk-sibuk snap this picture of the little angel tengah kusyuk pilih kacang panjang. Before that, she was busy choosing tomato, smelling the wonderful scent and then put it back. Nasib baik nyonya sayur tak pekik.

The succulent fresh crabs, still crawling around in that basket and when put on the sizzling hot wire mesh, the outcome is its fresh taste from the sea. Oh, they took almost 1 and 1/2 hour to release all the crabs stuck at the long net and its a big tub full of crabs. And there's soft shell crabs too which I managed to eat - 3 of them.. hehehe..
Abg Salim & wife doing the 2nd shift of barbequeing. Guest where I took this picture from? From inside a speedboat. The barbeque was done on the jetty.
The siblings goofing around after a night full of crabs and chicken wings. They enjoyed themself and all came home with smell of smoke and sweat, especially the baby. Too much jumping around.
This is where we helped ourselves to sit down and eat. Inside a large fishing speedboat which was anchored beside the jetty - that's why Sarah enjoyed herself so much. She can eat, can play around, can touch the sea water and be with her daddy who is busy fishing away. ps. Oh and for J, a word of advise is for you to compose yourself and get the real facts before you jump on others. You're getting ridiculously self-absorbed & we're just afraid you might end up in a safe haven one day.
The birthday cake that I baked myself - with so much love and pain. Because of the cake, I quarrelled with hubby and because of the cake, I cry my heart out. But thank goodness, the comments that I received from guest is encouraging and building up my liking to more baking. Alhamdulillah, the pain & cries is all worth it.
The afternoon when everybody there sang her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY song and she froze and don't know where to hide but eventually, she began liking it and awaiting to blow off the candles, with the help of the mummy.
The overwhelming presents from guest (half is already open) - despite the heavy rain. The poor daddy looked like a sleepy Santa Claus on Sunday morning when driving back home with passerby staring on his back seats - the birthday presents conquered the whole sitting area. I truly apologize for not taking so much pictures as I was busy handling the bbq and guests. A big thank you to my wonderful mama for cooking a storm - food was delicious & although it goes wasted by end of the day, I thank you so much for not sleeping the whole night cooking for me. Droolz & Family, Adik, My mak-in-law, Cik Anuar & Family, Cik Ma, Lia, Nenek, Zainab, Nullah - thank you for helping out. The guests - Masri (for the so ever bigger than Sarah present - thank you!!), Iwan, Nora, Momma & family, Mira & kids, Kak Mil & family, Kak Noi & hub, Abg Abu, Abg Maman & Family, Cik Kam & family and all of hubby's friends (Hairul, Sahri, Erwin, Azman, Romzi, Amir and their families plus some others whom I was not familiar with) - thank you all. Not forgetting my wonderful 3 colleagues for turning up with their families as well. I was dead tired by the time event is over. So much to do since Thursday evening and it all went well although Sarah's prayer not answered. And the fun & laughter we had from Abg Abu, Kak Noi, Abg Rezal, Amir, Diah & hubby till almost 3am... it was a good Sedara Eson gathering - One more time perhaps? Quoting Abg Abu's phrase - "JANGAN TAKUT, SEDARA PUNYA PASAL
