This month is definately the month for me to remember, the month that makes me MORE realize that death is nearing anytime, anywhere. My cousin lost his son in a road accident in the wee hours on 9th March. My husband lost his uncle, at our home, on 16th March. My step-son lost his maternal grandmother on 18th March. And I almost lost my mind having to juggle work and family during that time. It has been tough on all of us especially on the son. I am very ashamed of myself for taking my own sweet time settling office matter when the need of me to come home on 16th March was indeed urgent. I seriously had no idea that it would turn out to be something tragic. I was on my way home, exiting CTE Ave 3, when the phone call came in from the 2 boys (the youngest brother in law & the son) advising Arwah had no breath. I frantically asked my downstairs shopkeeper who is our close neighbour to go up my house and check and he confirmed the death. That made me more panic and more remorseful afterwards as I had to handle the calling of the necessaries - the relatives, the police, the doctor, the casket people. The husband was crying frantically and that makes me even more sad for I have never seen him crying, not even once, since the day we met. 7 days has just past and all I can do now is to pray - Semoga rohnya dicucuri rahmat. Amin.On the other note, a big shout to Rayyan Sufuwandy for his birthday yesterday. Happy 13th Birthday, son! And that face, after reading the birthday card that I wrote, I will never forget... ever! My words managed to touch your heart, is it not? Heh!

Gong Xi Fa Cai, Hong Bao Na Lai
Office reopens today with a good start time of 9.30am and a not-so-thick angpow from deGenerous boss. Roads are not that busy and so are the telephones. As a matter of fact, I only received 2 calls since this morning. And since I am a little free today for not so much work need to be done, I have managed to uploads some pictures here. Heh. Not easy to steal 2 hours of office time updating my personal blogger, hokay. So what I did during the long holidays you ask? Lazing around at home and had good quality time spend with my darling baby. Picnic was done on Monday with the aunts & the uncle & the cousins and it was a great family affair. Housekeeping and laundry on the next other days all settled. Perhaps another outing tomorrow. Right now, just enjoy these collage. Toodles.

Happy weekend everybody.....

So Long Due
I came in then went out, then came in again and then exits. All I did these past few weeks is just reading others and not even commenting. Just to show how lazy I must have been these new year. Instead of progressing, I am definately slacking. Thanks to massive workloads and the not long enough lunch hour. As the saying goes, when the salary increased, the workload increased too. What else can one expects. To my boss, TERIMA KASEHHHH (Alleycat style - hur hur).
Next in my post is a fairy tale wedding. A heavenly made couple just tie a knot last Saturday. I don't know about others but I personally felt that they look great and are just sweet and suitable for each other. To Lis & Azlie, congrats you both. A wedding that I have been looking forward to attend although not much photo taken (mak bawak anak kan.. hur hur). For my 2 companions, you too enjoy yourself looking at those pics in here. Heeee...Ok selamat... dah update pong.

Welcoming 2007
2007 is a good start to the new year. This year itself, I am aiming for much achievement unlike last year. 2006 is definately a so slacking year for me and I have been so lazy to achieve anything that year. There won't be any new resolution. I said a no no to new resolution coz my past resolution have not yet been fulfil. Heh. But! I did make a promise to myself that I will set foot out of Singapore for a holiday this year. I have always wanted to shop till I drop in Bangkok but never, never got a chance. First reason, the husband is always giving excuses about the bad economy (read : too difficult for the husband to part with his money to treat this unfortunate wife of his). Second reason, my work commitment (read : too difficult for the boss to part with his multi-tasker secretary). Third reason, my baby is still too young (read : too difficult for the mother to carry one baby on one hand and a shopping bag on another). So, this year, I am so determined that no matter how much excuses the husband or the bosses or the yours truly is giving, I am setting foot to that shopping paradise. Never mind about the Thaksin saga, the New Year bombing, I will fly with or without the husband. Hoomphh.School reopens and how excited can a mother (read : step mother) be to see his boy stepping into secondary one. With the smart looking uniform and long pants (and I always thought lower secondary should wear short pants), I now felt like a 40 years old woman already. All my ex-classmates are either sending their children into kindergarten or primary schools but I have sent mine into secondary school. Speaking about school reopens, I cannot imagine how excited I was during my time when school reopens every year. That is when I get to show off my new bag (read : bodypac), my new white shoes (read : double happiness), my new thick socks and the ever getting shorter skirt and ever getting bigger shirt. Oh yes I was excited especially when you finally get to meet your classmates and favourite 'cher' (read : teacher) back again. That enthusiasm is not seen in my boy. Is it because he's a boy? I doubt so. Yes he's excited to get a new bag, a new shoes, a new socks, a new uniform etc but ermm.. I killed that excitement lah. All because he wanted a Nike bag, a Nike socks, an Adidas black school shoes and finally a new Nike football boot (for his ECA) that cost $179.00. Pfft. *Faints*This year, I have to be a good mother and a good example to my little baby. She have been learning new things including learning to spray the whole bed and floor with Febreze, feeding the cat, wiping the floor with her wet tissue and above all, she always have something up her sleeves when I am not at her sight. Either she plays with my cosmetics or she'll goof around with the cigarettes and wet all the filters. Chet! Despite the bad behaviours she picked up, she is quick in picking up new songs, new reads and new actions. She has been reciting Alif to Ya and when lazy halfway through will say 'Allahhhh' loudly, then have to force again to recite till she reads it to the end. She's a quick learner coz she's trying to say that I'm a slow like tortoise teacher when it comes to Numerics. When I say One, she says Two. When I say Three, she says Four. When I say Four, she says Five and so on. She must've probably known how I always flung in my Mathematics I guess. Geez. But I like to the way she pronounce all the names of our 25 Rasuls from Adam to Muhammad. To hear her little voice reciting the names, that is my proudest moment. May she become a solehah, unlike the notorious mama. Heh. And yesterday, she picked up this song from her range of VCDs and the song goes like this Ashes, Ashes we all fall down. Not forgetting her version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars which I like the most. She'll sing Twinkle Twinkle Liche Shtar Wa Wa Wa Wa Wa Wa Wa. If only I can load her recordings. Anybody knows how? This will end the new year post.
